Property investors looking for opportunities in one of the most exciting emerging property hotspots have been buoyed by the of a new airport opening on the island of Boa Vista in Cape Verde.
Boa Vista International Airport was opened by Prime Minister José Maria Neves as part of the Government’s strategic programme to enhance the local infrastructure and improve accessibility for the tourist industry.
This offers a further prospect for property investors looking for opportunities on the Islands, which have already caused a stir with low entry costs, potential for high rental yields (up to 9%) and forecasts of strong capital growth recorded at over 10%.
Stuart Law, Chief Executive of Assetz, comments:This new airport is fantastic news for Boa Vista which has become much more accessible, especially for buyers and investors coming from the UK.
