Bourgas in Bulgaria is emerging as a potential new property hotspot...

The Sofia Echo recently reported that the city will see three new residential housing developments set up in the future, according to Dnevnik. Skyscrapers will be built in the region, as well as two and three storey properties. The residential districts will be constructed in the areas next to Bourgas, Strafovo and Kraimorie.

Bourgas is the second largest city on the Black Sea coast of Bulgaria. It has a population of 210,260 and is a key economic centre in the south-east of the country. Its popularity with tourists is boosted by Bourgas Airport, as well as its strong rail links with the rest of Bulgaria.

Bourgas also has a favourable climate, with average daytime lows of 5.9 degrees centigrade in January and highs of 30.2 degrees centigrade in July, according to World Weather Information Services.
