According to the Time on Market survey results from the Home.co.uk Property Search Engine, which tracks over 600,000 properties for sale across the UK, the 20 best town towns for property sales are shown below.

The UK's best property selling towns for January 2010 are dominated by the London boroughs and the South East. This clearly shows the superior strength and vivacity of the property markets in these areas when compared to the national average Time on Market of 230 days.

NB: Only towns with more than 500 properties for sale were included in the survey which analysed the mean time on market for unsold property in agents' portfolios.
